Salmon’s Powerful Source!

Do you eat and like fish and if you do, what kind is your favorite to eat? Could it be mackerel, sardines, yellowfin tuna, or halibut? If you chose salmon as your favorite kind of fish to dine on (be it canned or wild-caught in a pouch) then you’ll receive some health benefits as a result of your choice. Salmon doesn’t necessarily have to be your choice of favorites but you’re most likely to have a healthy heart from consuming it. The reason for this is that salmon contains a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon tend to diet on fresh fish which consume smaller fish that also consume smaller fish. Algae happens to be among that smaller group of fish which contains the healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s could possibly reduce the risk of heart disease because they prevent the clumping of platelets in the blood which could help to avoid a plaque buildup in the arteries. Omega-3s (Fish Oil) also restrain joint pain and stiffness in the body along with blocking the production of inflammatory substances linked to autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Research studies suggest that this healthy fish oil can also help to protect brain cells from the diseases of aging such as Alzheimer’s disease. There are other types of fish that contain sources of omega-3 fatty acids like bluefish, herring and even mackerel, but I prefer and will stay with salmon as my type.
