Maintenance Is A Must!

Maintenance is a must especially when it comes to personal hygiene. A habit that should be maintained on a daily basis is personal hygiene which involves the practice of caring for your physical body. A good amount of steps in maintaining personal hygiene is washing your hands after using the bathroom to prevent the spread of germs. Keeping your nails clean is a great way to prevent the spread of germs to your nose and mouth. Taking care of your teeth and gums by brushing them everyday should prevent cavities and gum diseases such as gingivitis. Keeping your hair and scalp clean is good hygiene depending on the type of hair you have. Your hair should be washed every time you produce an enormous amount of sweat from a workout or any physical activity or to possibly prevent and avoid allergies if it is regularly exposed to dust, dirt, or pollen. Even though our bodies have a good immune and defense system to fight germs, millions of them can linger in our body and make us ill but maintaining good hygiene by bathing and avoiding close contact with people who are sick can reduce the spread of infections and viruses.
